STAFF ACCOUNTANT

The position is hands-on and requires proficiency using accounting software (currently Quickbooks Desktop) applying GAAP/ accrual accounting methodologies.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential accounting functions including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll,  journal entries, tracking insurance policies and OCIPs. Additionally, you will be handling some HR functions, including tracking employee benefits. You will collaborate closely with company ownership, internal staff, and external CPA firms who will provide training and guidance. 

Experience & Education:
Ideal candidates will possess solid accounting software experience with QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is mandatory, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.  Candidates with a background in the construction industry are a significant plus, as is being bilingual in Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time position.
